Add backend support for alternate base dir (subdir/subpath) hosting

To use this, include a path in the `DOMAIN` URL, e.g.:

* `DOMAIN=https://example.com/custom-path`
* `DOMAIN=https://example.com/multiple/levels/are/ok`
